Final Project Proposal
Scene Shots Structure and Conveying Emotion Through Camera Angles
How a scene is positioned can really sell the scene and enhance the actors and the setting. The emotion that is conveyed through an actors movement and actions could be amazing, but if the scene is poorly planned then the scene could poorly received by the audience. Actors have to understand camera shots to act in a way that enhances not only their own movements, but work well with how the camera is positioned to work with their environment and the other actors on set, especially if the actors will be doing improv. Shot planning can make or break a scene, knowing what your camera shots convey to the audience is something anyone in film and animation should know and be aware of their impact, because the scene is the audience.
