Whats in a Box
Sync Sketch Links:
Process and Struggle:
- Figure out how someone would react to what is in the box
- Get the props and set up scene
- Test out a few different reactions
- Trying to figure out a good camera angle to shoot from to make the box be in focus but still feel small
- After every recording, review the footage and see if it's a good shot or not
- I was not satisfied with my shots so I asked a friend to help me by getting him to act the scene out
What made my scene better:
- I found it better to not get scared at the start and be startled, slowly building it up by opening and closing the box again
What made my scene believable:
- I did not panic completely at the start and just reacted to what I thought would come out of the box
- The camera angle shows the box but it is at an upward angle, so the audience can see the box but cannot see what is inside making the audience guess what is inside the box though the acting
- I gradually started swatting faster quickly building up the action
